Honda has increased the price of the 2027 Passport TrailSport by $1,645, raising the cost of entry for the more rugged version of its midsize SUV.
The increase coincides with hardware changes intended to strengthen the TrailSport’s off-road credentials. Honda has reworked the suspension and added ground clearance, addressing two areas that matter most for drivers who use the Passport beyond paved roads.
The TrailSport Elite also receives the updated suspension, additional clearance and more equipment. The revisions give both versions a clearer technical distinction within the Passport range while bringing their specification closer to that of the standard RTL.
For buyers, the higher TrailSport price reflects a broader equipment package rather than a simple model-year adjustment. As Motor1 reports, Honda is pairing the increase with substantive changes to the TrailSport variants’ chassis and feature set.
