Land Rover has launched a recall affecting just one Range Rover Sport following an issue involving its PCM, according to a report by Carscoops.
The vehicle at the centre of the action was built on February 16. No broader group of Range Rover Sport vehicles is included in the campaign.
Single-vehicle recalls are rare, but they can emerge when a manufacturer identifies a fault tied to a specific production event, component or vehicle configuration. The limited scope means the action should not be read as evidence of a wider issue across the Range Rover Sport range.
For the owner, however, the scale of the campaign offers little consolation. The vehicle will still require the prescribed inspection or repair to address the PCM-related concern.
