Planters is looking for three people to spend a year driving its NUTmobile, placing one of the food industry's most recognisable promotional vehicles back at the centre of a recruitment campaign.
The NUTmobile has a longer history than the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, according to a report by Jalopnik. That lineage gives the vehicle an unusual position among brand-built road attractions.
For the automotive sector, the opening is a reminder that purpose-built promotional vehicles remain a distinct part of the wider mobility landscape. Their task is not conventional transport efficiency, but sustained public visibility and a memorable physical expression of a brand.
The year-long assignment also turns the NUTmobile from a static marketing symbol into a working road vehicle, with three new drivers set to become its public-facing operators.
